1. The main reasons for abnormal wear and burns of natural gas compressor piston rings
(1) The material of the piston ring is unqualified and the elasticity is too large; the mirror surface of the cylinder is rough;
(2) Mixed with condensed water to form an oil film barrier;
(3) Insufficient lubricating oil and poor quality of lubricating oil;
(4) Inclusions are mixed into the gas;
(5) Cylinder pull cylinder;
(6) The ring groove is unqualified or the ring thermal opening gap is small.
2. Solutions to abnormal wear and burns of piston rings of natural gas compressors
(1) Replace the piston rings with qualified materials, appropriate elasticity and meeting the requirements;
(2) Thoroughly separate the condensed water;
(3) Increase the lubricating oil or replace the lubricating oil that meets the requirements;
(4) Strengthen the filtration of gas and clean the pipeline;
(5) Overhaul or replace the new cylinder;
(6) Overhaul or update the piston, and adjust the thermal clearance of the piston ring properly.
